All through history, hatred has brought some strange folks in bed together. Gilmore does share some of the same philosophies as Fallwell and Robertson. I suppose he is being a way more honest Satanist than they are Christian. At least this post helps point out some of the contradictions of the Church of Satan that his silver tongued "we're just logical non-religious people" interview. I'm not saying, I'm against Matt and Jeremy posting this, it is a different perspective and one that's probably not getting a lot of exposure. I just don't trust Gilmore in the slightest and I think he's proving his silver tongue to be quite forked.

Well said all around, Mr. Dead Air. It's a very interesting point.

As far as trusting the COS, you're right on target. Satanists can be very cool people, but they're beleif system is inherently untrustworthy.

Yeah, I suppose they can be "very cool."

If of course your into bald middle-aged dudes with pointy ears, incredibly bad jewelry, and black turtlenecks. Everybody who thinks Satanists are cool should have to listen to Anton La Vey's album Satan Takes a Holiday on Amarillo Records all the way through. He's just about as cool as William Shatner.
