Turns out, there's an African-Carribean Sect called Santeria that developed during the slave trades in and around Cuba, with a large following in Florida.

Maybe it isn't Satan that the Mayor is after at all!! Maybe it's African Americans'!! Anyone recall the riots around the St. Petersburg area (which, incidentally, is home to such "Satanic" bands as Deicide and Death)?

In another odd twist, the Honourable Mr. Gilmore forgot to mention this page from his own site, with a link to purchase a spellbook on Santeria!

I'll just stick with the idea that Florida is kinda lame, and I don't want to go there. Well, maybe for the Metal...

There is no twist. You linked to the wrong website. The website you linked to is owned by someone who would like you to think that he knew something. It is not affiliated with the Church of Satan in any way whatsoever.

He's right, homes. There's two different Church of Satan's. The link you provided was for the "First Church of Satan" whereas Mr. Gilmore is from the "Church of Satan", the one started by Anton L.

For my money's worth, the only one that matters.
