If I do actually pursue this column it will be stridently anti-fanatic. Certain people in Detroit didn't exactly do sports fans' image any favors last month, unfortunately, but we'll try to be reasonable.

As long as there are Ron Artest and college football booster organizations, though, I'll always have something to make fun of.
