I have a piece that's going to be called "Why I'm Proud to Be a Dirty GNU Hippy", but I was planning to submit it tonight at K5. Would you like me to submit it here as well?
It will also be creative commons. Not everything I write is, but sometimes.
However, the piece was originally meant to introduce the folks at webmasterworld to copyleft. It explains who richard stallman and linus torvalds are, and says that I got my career started when I was inspired by the GNU Manifesto. All of that would be old hat to SoS readers, I'm sure. But it's my hope that it be read widely, so maybe publishing here would encourage more widespread copying.
I expect before too long I'll have something more... uniquely appropriate... to satanosphere. This piece was a very spur-of-the-moment slashdot post. Many of my best pieces started out that way.
