I grew up in Tacoma. My mom used to frequent the honkytonks(she was a bit of a groupy)where Buck would play and listened to that radio station. Yeah, she knew him, and talked about him. She said that all his songs have a "weelllll..." in them somewhere, so we would listen close to find them.
