I have a dvd on The Self-Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior. It parallels this column: Warrior came from obscure beginnings [My original post on dead wrestlers], entered the WWF strong, full of flash and intensity [My early columns], disappeared, returned, and abruptly disappeared again [Later columns], returned years later only to fizzle shortly thereafter [ditto], arrived in WCW a mockery of his former self [the column devolved into a Death Watch posted 3 or 4 times a year], and finally when Jim Helwig makes news on the internet it's not wrestling related [my most recent column was a movie review]
