Successful CTO Management In the IT Workplace

Managing an IT department as a CTO can be fun and rewarding. It is usually an opportunity most people will want to take advantage of. People get married, have kids, buy houses and want that new hybrid SUV that they've dreamed about. Bettering the bottom line for the company you work for, increasing productivity, real interest in your department and being innovative are usually secondary reasons to achieving this goal.

Below are guidelines to follow once you have become a 'made guy' at the company you work for.

WTF. Some time over night, Pluto was laid to rest in its upscale Euro Townehouse.

Here's how it happened: Old and New guys -> new definitions get in fight with old definitions -> 1 less planet.

Consult your local People for Pluto chapter for wake^H^H^H^Hprotest times and locations.

Oil of Man vs. Oil of Olay

Sex!?

What's long, hard, and full of moisturizer? According to urban legend, your dick. Popular myth relates that women who've given quality hummers and ended up with semen on their faces claim that it's the best moisturizer they've ever used. Many apparently claim that it makes their breasts smoother and softer, and their cheeks tighter.

While opinions differ as greatly on this debate as they do in any other, there is evidence to actually back up the claims of both sides. One recent adult site posted a tit-for-tat thread on the rivalry, with both sides weighing in heavily.

But while they discuss the topic in a purely academic way, Vice magazine has gone one step further in the form of sponsoring a month-long clinical study: cum vs moisturizer. And though semen (or at least sperm) has been i the news so much lately, the winner may surprise you.

Sex!?

When I was a kid, there was a public service announcement on television that featured an angry father confronting his stoner kid about the drugs he'd found, presumably in the youngster's bedroom. "Who taught you how to do this stuff!?" that father screams.

"You, alright? I learned if from watching you," the teen replies, cuing the now-familiar-voiceover about how parents who use drugs have kids who use drugs.

Sure.

But what if using these drugs could keep you from having children? And what if the drug that did that was as innocuous as marijuana? Lani J. Burkman, PhD, director of andrology at the University of Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences says that just may be what's going on.
