I really can't tell if this wacko site is for real or not. The address does imply that the author is really Finnish, so maybe he really does think we have a 1st "Amendmend" in the U.S. As conservative Christian cranks go, especially conservative Christian cranks who take on such scary topics as Role Playing Games, he really has exceptional graphics, and that music is definately straight from Hell.

| I was actually just searching for "satan+dead" when I came across the above. While I certainly played D&D as an adolescent (I even had a little problem and would spend hours alone with the books dreaming that somebody somewhere would be a big enough geek to want to play my adventures someday,) I don't have much patience with the topic today. While I always found it mildly amusing that TSR took all the demon creatures off of their second edition books in an effort to fend off Christian paranoia, that's about as far as my interest in the D&D/Satanism link goes. But this Finnish dude has brought new light to the topic, or this is one Hell (heh, heh) of a great satire. You decide. There's a poll to the right. In the interest of fairness, I should give a voice to an opposing view. But who among pimply dice-rollers can possibly go up against the Finnish John Birch Wonder? Well how about a kid who got a B+ for this paper from a really tough high school. This is definitely the first place I have ever heard of somebody getting credit to play RPGs during school hours. Even Evergreen hasn't thought of that one yet. |
