What's terribly offensive to me is how the people on the discussion board seem to feign compassion for these celebrities that they don't even know, while at the same time placing a wager on their impending demise ("Drew's really let herself go, it's so sad", etc...).Truly, nothing annoys me more than people who actually give a shit about the lives of people they don't even know. You know, like when you're watching E! True Hollywood Story and the ad comes on that says "Should Britney and Justin stay together? Vote at E! Online!" There are those people who actually go online and vote!! For Fuck's sake! Arrrggh!
Whitney's a crackhead? That's not tragic, that's fucking HEE-larious. What's tragic is the effect that "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" has on the brains of young adolescents. In fact you could apply that exact same analogy to Ronald Reagan as well. Except you would substitute Alzheimers for crack addiction and the entire Reagan Administration for "I Wanna Dance With Somebody".
