A longer version as I cover both Raw and Smackdown from last week.

But if you bear with me, there's Hot Lesbian Action coming up...and a Gay Wedding to be broadcast at 8:00 PM September 12th (check your local UPN station)

On September 2, 2002, Monday Night Raw was broadcast live (with a 7 second delay, and tape-delayed for the West Coast) from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

There was 39 minutes of wrestling tonight.

In a Nutshell

Intergender Tag-Team Tables Match
Trish Stratus & Bubba Ray Dudley vs. Christopher Nowinski & Molly Holly

Bubba powerbombs Molly through a table.

Singles Match
Booker T vs. William Regal

Booker wins with the Axe Kick.

World Heavyweight Title (Raw Version)
Ric Flair vs. Triple H (c)

H pedigrees Flair to retain the belt that was handed to him by Bischoff earlier.

Handicap Match
UnAmericans (Christian/Lance) vs. Kane

Kane chokeslams Lance Storm for the win.

Singles Match
Big Show vs. Tommy Dreamer

Dreamer is disqualified for beating the Hell out of Big Show with a chair.

Singles Match
Jeff Hardy vs. Crash Holly

No Contest as Bischoff sics the Island Boys in the ring before the match could start.

Lingerie Pillow Fight
Stacy Keibler vs. Terri
Special Guest Referee: Jerry Lawler

Terri wins...not as good as that mud fight from a couple weeks ago.

Tag-Team Match
Triple H & Chris Jericho vs. Rob van Dam & Ric Flair

RVD lands the 5-Star Frog Splash on HHH for the win.

What Filled the Show

1. Eric Bischoff announced that since Brock Lesnar refuses to work on Raw, that the World Heavyweight Title is now disputed. He declares Triple H the first Raw Champion.

Ric Flair demands that HHH earn the belt instead of having it handed to him, so a match is set up for that night. When Flair shakes Bischoff's hand, he gets sucker punched by Hunter.

2. Steven Richards and Johnny Stamboli congratulate HHH, but Bubba has issues and tells Hunter his days are numbered.

Prior to the Table Match, Nowinski claimed that after Bubba and Trish burst through some tables, he'll celebrate by bursting through Molly's hymen. This set off Jerry Lawler, who squeaked HYMEN HYMEN HYMEN throughout most of the match.

One spot in the match saw Nowinski accidentally fall face first into Molly's crotch. He had a pleased look on his face when he got back up. He even had a thumbs-up from Bubba over that, before being tossed out of the ring.

3. The UnAmerican's tag-team titles aren't on the line in their handicap match against Kane. They go off on America again, ripping the concept of Labor Day to shreds, and claim they just want to show Americans what they're doing wrong so that they can change their ways and not be hated by the rest of the country. Test announces that once Kane's taken care of, they'll finish the job of torching Old Glory.

4. Bischoff decides that the Lingerie Pillow Fight between Stacy and Terri will be to determine whether Tits (Terri) or Ass (Stacy) are better...doesn't quite make sense, because, while Terri has one of the few non-augmented sets in the business, Stacy has those long legs that..that...just end, I guess.

5. Jericho is livid that a "53 year old Has-Bean" (He's from Canadia, remember) gets the first shot at the Raw belt. However, he's confident that he'll get a rematch against Flair from SummerSlam, and so he wishes Flair good luck so that he can have a title shot. (Works well enough for me...'cuz every single time Jericho wrestles HHH, Hunter gets the win. See, you can do that when you're banging the boss's daughter in real life.)

6. Shawn Michaels, in a wheelchair, speaks live via satellite: He has feeling in his legs, but is going through physical therapy to learn to walk again. He feels returning to the ring was worth it, and reminds us that it wasn't the match which crippled him, but HHH's post-match attack with the sledgehammer. Shawn has his own Sledge, and warns Hunter that what goes around, comes around.

7. After HHH beat Flair, Jericho locked Flair in the Walls, but RVD ran in for the save.

8. Big Show is upset that he wasn't the one given the title. Bischoff tells him to earn his #1 contendership by impressing him in his match against Tommy Dreamer.

A phone call warns Bischoff that someone is going to jump to Smackdown to take care of Family Business.

9. After Kane won his match, Test gave him the boot and nearly torched the flag, but Bradshaw made the save. (Either Test moved too fast, or Bradshaw moved too slow..because the timing was off)

10. Hunter is pissed that RVD interfered, and wants a match. Bischoff can't do it, as he's defending the Intercontinental Title against Chris Jericho. HHH insists, so Bischoff says he's going to.....before he says it, Jericho interrupts. He doesn't want to lose his title shot just because of Hunter. Jericho reminds us that when he won the title, he beat The Rock and Steve Austin in the same night, instead of having the belt given to him in a ceremony. Bischoff decides he's going to have Hunter and Jericho team up to go against RVD and Ric Flair. Hunter is happy, Jericho isn't.

11. Bischoff is convinced that Jeff Hardy will be the one jumping, to avenge himself against his brother Matt. Rosie and Jamal (The Island Boys) destroy Jeff. Afterwards, Crash Holly announces that it's HE who's jumping, then he runs for his life. Bischoff looks somewhat regretful over what he's done to Jeff.

12. After Terri won the Pillowfight, Stacy knocked her out with a loaded pillow (had an alarm clock in it), then tarred and feathered her using Castrol GTX.

***

After RVD pinned HHH in the main event, he held up both his IC and the Heavyweight belts. The WWE website temporarily announced that RVD had won the titles, but quickly took back their statement.

****

WWE Smackdown, from Green Bay, Wisconsin, was taped September 3rd and broadcast September 5th, 2002.

There was 40 and a half minutes of wrestling.

In a Nutshell

Singles Match
Rey Misterio vs. Billy

Misterio wins with a Bodyscissors.

Cruiserweight Championship Match
Jamie Noble (c) vs. Shannon Moore

Noble wins with the TigerBomb

Non-Title Match
Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Orton

Do you really need someone to tell you who wins?

Singles Match
Mark Henry vs. Tajiri

Mark totally squishes Tajiri

Singles Match
Reverend D-Von vs. Batista

Batista wins with a Powerbomb.

Singles Match
Matt Hardy vs. Hardcore Holly

Holly wins with a roll-up and a handful of tights.

Singles Match
Crash Holly vs. The Hurricane

Crash wins with a roll-up...what is it with both Holly's winning with a roll-up?

Six-Man Tag-Team Match
Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit & Eddie Guerrero vs. Edge, Rikishi & Undertaker

Undertaker chokeslams Eddie for the win.

What Filled The Show

1. Chuck proposed to Billy, who accepted. I shit you not. The major news media has been covering this story all week. The September 12th Smackdown will have the wedding.

2. Paul Heyman advises Brock not to take Randy Orton too lightly, as they've worked together in the Amateur Ranks and Orton knows Brock better than anyone.

3. Edge and Rikishi slap hands and discuss 'kish's ass.

4. Mark Henry congratulates Billy and Chuck. But then again, Mark Henry was blown on National TV by Sammy the Transvestite (with his mother watching on tv)...so, who knows...

5. Reverend D-Von is appalled about this Gay Wedding. He declares it's a Mortal Sin. He even pulls out the Adam & Steve line. Stephanie tells him it's immoral to impersonate a man of the cloth and tells him to leave her office.

NOTE: No one is actually Ballsy enough to say "Gay" or "Gay Wedding" or even just "Wedding".....they're being cautious and just calling it a "Committment Ceremony"

OOPS: Michael Cole just said "Same Sex Marriage"

6. Stephanie McMahon moderates an interview between Undertaker and Brock Lesnar, who will meet for the World Heavyweight Title (Smackdown version) at the Unforgiven PPV.

They just talk shit for awhile...until Heyman starts bringing up the subject of Sara Calloway's pregnancy. (NOTE: Undertaker's real name is Mark Calloway.) 'taker tosses the table aside, but Brock keeps him from reaching Heyman.

7. Nidia thinks it's so romantic that Billy and Chuck are getting hitched. She asks Jamie if they'll ever get married. He rolls his eyes as he says they'll have the best wedding in the Trailor Park.

8. Matt Hardy is bragging about how good he was in his match against Brock last week....completely forgetting that he was destroyed.

9. Kurt Angle gets into an argument with Guerrero and Benoit. Angle claims that Benoit was weak for getting pinned by Undertaker last week. They almost fight, but Eddie tells them to save it for the ring since they're partners tonight.

10. Funaki interviews Rico. Rico will Stand Up for Chuck...and be Billy's Best Man.

11. Crash and Hurricane shook hands after their match.

12. During the Six-Man match, Angle got caught in the Stinkface, which made Benoit laugh. Benoit and Angle started fighting, which left Eddie all alone to have his head shoved up Rikishi's ass and then pinned by Undertaker.

****

Apparently, Edge and Eddie got into a shoving match behind the curtain after the match ended. Eddie was upset about something that happened in the ring...perhaps Edge shoving his face into Rikishi wasn't planned. Who knows, usually cooler heads prevail in the Reality Portion of the WWE.
