Texas undercover agents are now arresting people inside bars for public intoxication, saying that bars are public and therefore no exemption. They claim it's to nip the problem of Drunk Driving and other reckless public drunken behavior in the bud before it can happen. What will these dumbfucks come up with next? How about arresting people whose houses have just burnt down for Vagrancy. [Note: I want links, but I'm crimped with using WebTv. Anyone want to put them in a comment for me? I'll buy you a genuine Texas Club Soda.] [editor's note, by Paul Shrug] Here's one from England, where bars never close.

Are these people assuming that just because you are drunk, you are going to drive? My own DUI experience has tought me to watch myself.... but I digress...
