It must be love

shoeboy's Diary

I'm in Houston with my nubile fiance, and we're having dinner when the terrible thing happens.

She tells me that she thinks D.H. Lawrence is better than James Joyce and specifically that "Lady Chatterly's Lover" is superior to both "Ulysses" and everything in "The Dubliners."

Despite misgivings, I'm still going through with the engagement. I must truly love her to overlook such a thing.

Here's a clue: Do you remember The Brady Bunch? None of them were nubian.

The movie Lady Chatterly's Lover had significantly more tits in it than any adaptation of Joyce's Ulysses.

Apparently you have never seen the Ron Jeremy version of Ulysses. The opening "shaving" scene, for one thing, is totally different from the book.

So then, was it Ron Jeremy's tits that we saw a lot of in that version?
