It took years to put together such an exposé, and now that 6/6/06 has come, it's time to let the truth be known about how Mac users almost ripped, mix, and burned in Hell. What turned Apple around in the late Nineties wasn't just Steve's charm and charisma: There was a touch of devilry too. Rip. Mix. Burn in Hell. ran on 6/6/06 at MacSlash and tells the story of how Jobs employed the Devil to perform various feats, such as pushing the G4 past 500 MHz, debuting the iPod, and releasing Mac OS X. In the end, Apple continued its string of successes, but alsmost at the cost of Mac users' souls.
